The Challenge
A sheet metal manufacturer was spending 3 days per enclosure variant designing, modelling, and producing drawings — across hundreds of variants per year. The process was manual, error-prone, and a bottleneck for their sales and production teams.
The Solution
TDM developed an iLogic configurator that captures the enclosure dimensions and features through a simple form, then automatically generates the 3D model, flat patterns, DXF files, and a complete drawing package — in under 20 minutes.
The Outcome
Design time reduced from 3 days to 20 minutes per variant. Error rate dropped to near zero. The sales team can now generate accurate technical drawings while the client is still on the phone.
