The Challenge
A solar EPC contractor was producing the same structural drawings repeatedly for different project sites — varying only in panel count, row spacing, and pile depth. Each project took 2 days of CAD work.
The Solution
TDM built an iLogic automation tool driven by an Excel input form. The estimator enters project parameters — panel count, orientation, pile depth — and the tool generates the complete structural drawing set automatically.
The Outcome
Drawing production time reduced from 2 days to 45 minutes per project. The contractor can now handle 3x the project volume with the same engineering headcount.
