The Challenge
A solar EPC contractor was repeatedly producing the same structural drawings for different sites, with only panel count, row spacing, and pile depth changing. Each project took 2 days of CAD work.
The Solution
TDM built an iLogic automation tool driven by an Excel input form. The estimator enters project parameters, and the tool generates the complete structural drawing set automatically.
The Outcome
Drawing production time was reduced from 2 days to 45 minutes per project. The contractor can now handle 3 times the project volume with the same engineering headcount.
